CHEMICAL PEEL - OBAGI BLUE PEEL

The Obagi Blue Peel is a light chemical peel - a combination of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) added to a non-ionic base – designed to provide gradual skin improvement or correction of certain problems. The unique composition of Obagi Blue Peel reduces variables and helps ensure consistent results. The depth of exfoliation can be modified to suit the needs of the patient. This professional chemical peel system is only available in physicians offices or medi-spas. This peel requires a short recovery period (2 to 10 days depending on the depth of peel), has rapid healing with little or no pain, and is suitable for most skin types.

This peel is effective for many conditions: hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, comedones, large pores, laxity, roughness, and actinic keratoses. This peel can be applied to face, neck, chest, hands, and arms.

Note: The patient should incorporate the Skin Conditioning program for six (6) weeks before the procedure. This is considered one (1) skin cycle on the Obagi Nu-Derm Skin Health Restoration Program. The conditioning is discontinued three (3) days before the peel. Collagen & Restylane Injections, Electrolysis, Hair Chemicals, Waxing and Laser procedures should be discontinued seven (7) days prior to peel and should be performed no sooner than seven (7) days after the peel. The patient should have discontinued Accutane for at least 12 months prior to any professional peels.
