Dr. Peter Newen is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has directed Image Plastic Surgery Center (also in The Image Center) for the past ten years. Dr. Newen has plastic surgery privileges at St. Joseph Hospital, CHOC, and HOAG hospitals. As with most plastic surgeons, he utilized various surgery centers in the community whenever his patients required general anesthesia. However, the services provided frequently did not reflect the high level of care he and his patients desired. In July of 2000, he and his wife Dr. Katherine Ahn began their plan of building a surgery center which would be outfitted with all the latest and best in technology, and most importantly where they can direct the quality of care delivered to their patients. His vision for Huntington Surgery Center is that it will uphold the highest standards of patient care for his patients and for other surgeons who desire the same for their patients.
